I have been looking around for several months now for a reliable web hosting provider. It seems that most of the ones I’ve come across offer the standard range of single domain hosting packages right through to dedicated servers but all of them seem to be based on Linux and come with the standard web host manager / cPanel control panel. Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve nothing against WHM, I’ve used it in the past and found it quite useful, but I’m not a great fan of Linux based systems. I know they’re all about reliability but I do find them quite primitive.

Ideally, I wanted a Windows hosting solution and I think I’ve found one with webhosting.uk.com - These guys appear to offer a fantastic solution for users wanting a Windows OS install and at an extremely competitive price. Not only that, you can also bolt things on to your package to customise it exactly how you want it. The additions like with some hosts aren’t too costly either, which was a nice surprise. I think using these guys will be the best option for me as they appear to offer everything I could possibly want.
